The internet
I hate it sometimes. I love it other times.
…
It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.
-slapped-
I’m a regular internet surfer, I search everything and regularly learn about new websites. (Often ones I shouldn’t be on. xD) Unfortunately I’m just a little speck of anonymity in the giant cesspool that is the (Not truck, but) series of tubes we reside in. It’s not made better by the fact that only people living near me that I hate are on the internet. My actual friends don’t have internet access. It’s odd. Kind of frustrating, too. Oh well. =\
Next reason I hate this place is that I’m not recognized. I have friends on my various AIM/MSN accounts, but that’s just not enough. Most sites only promote people who are already the most popular people there. -stabs Tumblr, Blogspot, dA, etc.- And even if there was some randomness, I’d still have to be uninterestedly sifted through thousands of other peoples who also want to become famous. I mean, there’s advertising, but I just don’t havethe money to waste on that.
Moving on. I love the internet, because there’s a website for everything you need. I don’t need to expand on this subject, but… I prefer the tubes over TV because I don’t have to wait for what I’m trying to see. Unless it’s a comic, or someone else’s blog, but who cares? I’ll just go surf Newgrounds or go skateboard or call my girlfriend while I wait.
Don’t tell me I need to get friends. I have friends. I skateboard, I ride my bike. Sure I’m hefty, but I’m perfectly healthy. I am not the /b/tard you think I am. I’m glad I cleared that out of the way on my first entry.
