This is a guest rant of my good friend Krytina. =D That explains why it might just possibly not look to be my style. Besides, I don’t live in New York. xD

“So, I’m REALLY angry at the fact that the government does NOTHING for people. My little brother is a skater, and like - the ONLY skate park in our town is closing due to the fact that the owner is way in debt. He’s a really good guy who likes to teach good ethics to the kids, too. ><

It’s twisted that people can spend money on stupid crap, and keep charging taxes for ridiculous things, and not do a damn thing to help the society that is giving them the money that they rake in all the time. >D

Rawr! It’s just not cool. So now Josh can’t go anywhere to skate in Oswego, and people yell at them for skating in the road and wherever. It’s like where the HELL do you want them to skate then? I mean it’s not like we have a skate-park in our freaking basements, people!

So yes, this is officially my FIRST RANT!

It’s just like… I wish people could get it through their thick skulls that if they actually want things to happen, they need to do something! I mean, my mom is going to try and talk to the mayor, and other people. She’s doing something about this crap-tastic situation. I mean heck, if you want the kids off of your sidewalks, then SUPPORT the skate-park! They’ll be somewhere else. x.x

And if they don’t want to do that, they can shut up and let them skate where they want to skate, as long as they aren’t being disrespectful or anything like that. But I mean come on!

I could seriously talk about how effed up everything is until I’m blue in the face, so I’m just going to stop now. And I’m sure you don’t want to hear me complain, lol.

But like, if anyone who lives in Oswego NY wants to help, could we stay in touch until we either decide to get a petition or something going, or decide it’s not going to work? It’s good for the community, and the kids. And I think it’s about time we actually get the government around here to do something for us.
